Eddy County Housing Authority’s office will be in the Foster County Courthouse. The agency will conduct appointments and inspections in Eddy County. GPHA hopes this arrangement is temporary and is looking for a different space in New Rockford.

Trucks carrying fresh vegetables, bakery items and boxed goods will be in Napoleon, Wishek, Edgeley and Oakes on Wednesday, March 9, as part of the Great Plains Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry. All in need of food assistance are welcome to attend and receive food at no cost.

The Mobile Food Pantry schedule that day is as follows:

• Napoleon: 9:45-10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church parking lot, 401 Broadway
• Wishek: 12-12:45 p.m. at 107 Centennial St.
• Edgeley: 2:30-3:15 p.m. in the Armory parking lot, 509 2nd Ave.
• Oakes: 5-5:45 p.m. in the alley behind Travel Inn, 401 Main Ave.

Great Plains Housing Authority has a full-time opening for an Occupancy Specialist to work in the Section 8 Program.  The Occupancy Specialist conducts inspections, provides advanced level of office support, customer service, records management, ensures accurate and timely reviews of participants; determines income eligibility for housing assistance; and informs clients of program standards, codes, and regulations.  Applicants need to submit resume to david@greatplainsha.com.  Full position description is available at http://www.greatplainsha.com
