Families are invited to a free community event celebrating the launch of Body Safety with Scout from the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center.

The event has been rescheduled and will now take place Monday, April 20 at 4:30 p.m. at Solien Denault Park in Jamestown.

Kids and families can walk Literacy Lane, read the new book, and meet the team behind the project. The first 100 children will receive a free “paw-dagraphed” copy of the book featuring Scout, the organization’s therapy dog.

The book introduces personal safety and boundaries in a simple, approachable way and marks the start of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event is free and open to the public.
