The public is invited to comment on the Great Plains Housing Authority’s (GPHA) proposed Administrative Plan updates. The Administrative Plan is a comprehensive guide to public housing agency policies and procedures.

Written comments on the Administrative Plan will be accepted through January 16, 2025. A copy of the draft plan may be viewed at Great Plains Housing Authority, or on our website, www.greatplainsha.com. Alternative formats or special accommodations are available for persons with disabilities upon request.

The GPHA board will review and vote on the Administrative Plan updates during the January 21, 2025, board meeting.

HUD approved ND052 Dickey Sargent Housing Authority and ND016 Eddy County Housing Authority to voluntarily transfer the Housing Choice Voucher program to ND011 Great Plains Housing Authority (GPHA) effective January 1, 2025. This will allow consolidated financials, client records, paperwork, submissions, auditing, and much more.

GPHA becomes the first Moving to Work (MTW) agency in the country to regionalize the flexibilities allowed under the MTW program designation.

Clients, landlords, service agencies, and communities should experience little difference as Eddy County Housing and Dickey Sargent Housing were administered by GPHA for years.

Dickey Sargent Housing Authority will have a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 11th at 4:00 via conference call.
