LaMoure County Housing Authority will have a special meeting on Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 AM via Zoom to approve management agreements with Great Plains Housing Authority and update other documents.

There will be a public hearing meeting to comment on the LaMoure County Housing Authority, McIntosh County Housing Authority, and Ransom County Housing Authority proposed Annual Plan. The PHA Plan is a guide to public housing agency policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals.

The public comment period is open and written comments on the proposed documents will be accepted through September 30, 2026. A copy of the documents may be viewed at Great Plains Housing Authority, or on our website, www.greatplainsha.com. Alternative formats or special accommodations are available for people with disabilities upon request.

The Mobile Food Pantry from Great Plains Food Bank will be in Jamestown and Valley City on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

In Valley City, the event will be from 1:30-3 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 680 8th Ave. SW.

In Jamestown, the event will be from 5:15-6:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 1200 12th Ave. NE.

Everyone is welcome to receive food at no cost through the drive-thru food distributions. No preregistration is required.
