- Allow housing to inspect the unit at reasonable times and after reasonable notice
- Disclose and verify social security numbers
- Do not commit any serious or repeated violation of the lease
- Do not commit drug or violent crimes
- Do not sublease the unit
- Must keep all basic utilities current or risk losing assistance
- Notify housing and the owner before ANY moves or terminations 30 days in advance
- Notify housing if a household member moves out
- Pay for any damages to the unit cause by the household
- Promptly inform housing of a birth, adoption, or court-awarded custody of a child
- Promptly notify housing if you will be out of the household for an extended time
- Provide any information that housing or HUD determines necessary in program
- Request housing and landlord approval to add a household member
- Supply all information requested by housing including verification forms
- Guest cannot stay longer than 10 days without jeopardizing housing assistance

- Complete all housing information required in a promptly manner

We’ve updated our Section 8 application to include language covering Dickey Sargent, Foster, and Stutsman County Housing Authorities. If you are sending an application to our office(s), please make sure you have completed all sections and include the documentation required by each section. If your application is incomplete it will delay when your application is processed and placed on the waiting list.

Foster County Housing Authority is pleased to announce our new office location in the Foster County Courthouse. The office is located on the second floor next to the County Extension Agent.
